Climate Change poses many challenges, amongst them extreme weather events such as flooding or heat waves. Especially cities are affected by heat during the summer. But the good news is: It’s possible to counteract these conditions by implementing different measures, for example unsealing surfaces and limit indivudial traffic.
With trees being the most effective way to cool down cities due to not only because they produce shade but also because of the evaporation effect, this climate simulation focuses on the use of trees and their possible impact on temperatures in Amberg.
